Everywhere you look today, the world is a mess, which isn’t a new reality here on earth. Life was also very messy 2000 years ago. There were psychotic and paranoid rulers, promises that seemed long forgotten, and complex dynamics within families and communities. It is because of that mess that people were losing their hope in a better future. But then God, in his great love for us, sent Jesus in the midst of that messiness to bring salvation to the world. This series “Christ-mess” reminds us that although life is still messy, it is because Christ connected himself to our mess that we now can find true hope, peace, joy, and love. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Josh kicks off the series to untangle the mess of hopelessness in our world.
