The FBI is now involved in investigating match fixing in CS:GO. According to the ESIC (Esports Integrity Commission), match fixing has been rampant in the Mountain Dew League for quite some time, and they’re cracking down after banning 35 players in Australia for match fixing offenses, AND five players from Team Rebirth and Russian Canadians after leaked audio recordings revealed their attempts to fix match outcomes.
Pros like summit1G and others have been outspoken in their reactions to the match fixing, and the ESIC is expected to release more information about the MDL situation over the next few weeks.
