DASHCAM Shows Successful 125 MPH PIT Maneuver On Nissan Altima After Trying To Elude ASP - Video

On July 31, 2023, I, Trooper Jeb Little #586, was sitting in traffic on Interstate 30 East at the 138 MM when I observed a black Nissan Altima with Texas tags pass my unit at a high rate of speed on the inside shoulder of the roadway. Moments later Arkansas State Police Sergeant Corey Ray #476 passed my unit in an unmarked ASP unit with his lights and siren activated. Sgt. Ray radioed that the suspect vehicle had been failing to yield for approximately a mile before they passed my unit. At approximately 6:55 AM a pursuit was called, and I became the primary unit due to being in a mark unit.
The suspect vehicle took the exit to Interstate 530 South. The suspect, Jeremiah Johnson, drove recklessly at excessive speeds through rush hour traffic weaving in and out of pedestrian vehicles and passing vehicles on the shoulder. Speeds of 137 miles per hour were reached during the pursuit. Near the 6MM on Interstate 530 South I observed a lull in the traffic and a break in the tree line on the west side of the roadway. I, Trp. Jeb Little #586, at approximately 6:58 AM executed a T.V.I. causing the suspect vehicle to exit the roadway. The suspect vehicle came to final rest in the field west of the roadway facing north. At 7:01 AM the suspect, Jerimiah Johnson, was taken into custody and transported to Pulaski County Detention Center and charged with the following:
27-50-308(b)(1)(B) 1ST: RECKLESS DRIVING - 1ST
5-54-125(d): FLEEING - VEHICLE OR CONVEYANCE
27-16-602: NO DRIVER LICENSE OR LICENSE EXPIRED
27-22-104(a)(2): FAIL TO PRESENT PROOF OF INSURANCE (NO PROOF)
No damage to ASP units occurred.
