We ascended to 5,000 meters in the Bolivian highlands, where I posed nude on an active volcano for my self-portrait project. This extreme adventure pushed us to the limits, facing harsh conditions and treacherous terrain—all for the sake of creating one powerful exhibition quality image. My name is Julia Buruleva, I'm an award-winning and internationally exhibited Art photographer, traveler, and the creator of the Art Expedition project.
This project is where I bring together my two main passions—art photography and exploring unique places and people around the planet.
