Hussein, the young son of the nomads, lives a life full of sorrow and sadness. He grows up in the heart of a pristine and vast nature, but the heavy shadow of family problems and the conflicts of the adults cast a pall over this beautiful life. Due to his young age, Hussein cannot understand why his mother, Soraya, is always sad and anxious. His bright eyes are filled with questions, yet he receives no comforting answers.

Soraya, Hussein's mother, is a determined and hardworking woman who tries with all her might to protect her son. However, the psychological pressure from the bad and deceitful behavior of Hojjat is soon pushing her to the brink of endurance. Hojjat, a foul-tempered and ill-natured man, has continually turned their lives into a bitter hell. He ruthlessly and violently attacks Soraya and Hussein, sometimes even causing them physical harm.

Hojjat is in conflict with Aqa Nemat, the local leader and a powerful man. This struggle not only affects Hojjat and his family but also harms the lives of Hussein and Soraya. Every day, Hussein wakes up in fear of this great war and the sounds of their clashes, carrying the bitter feeling that others decide his and his mother’s fate.

Nasibullah, Hussein's older brother, comes to Soraya. Having returned as a grown and strong man, he can hardly imagine what has befallen his family. When he learns about the miserable condition of his mother and brother, he resolves to put an end to the conflict and war between Hojjat and Aqa Nemat. Nasibullah courageously steps into the arena to protect his family and strives to bring a peaceful life to Hussein and Soraya.

But in the midst of this, will Nasibullah be able to overcome the bitter truths and heal his family’s suffering? Can Hussein and Soraya hold out for better days, or will this dark shadow always loom over their lives? Their story is one of love, resilience, and sorrow that resides in the heart of the nomadic mountains.
