Kanye West sparks controversy after serving sushi on nude women celebrating his 46th bd - Video

Kanye West is no stranger to controversy, but his latest stunt has left many people fuming. The rapper celebrated his 46th birthday by serving sushi and sashimi on the bodies of nude women, a Japanese practice known as nyotaimori.

The party, which took place in Los Angeles over the weekend, featured a minimalist, candlelit setting and a star-studded guest list, including his 9-year-old daughter North and his "wife" Bianca Censori. However, the highlight of the night was the bizarre food display, which some social media users called misogynistic, disgusting and weird.

"Treating a human woman like a plate is kinda misogynistic big dog," tweeted one person. "In what WORLD is treating women like objects for male consumption (literally) not misogyny?" argued another. "WTF... he's getting weirder and weirder each day," wrote a third.

Others joked that Sex and the City character Samantha Jones "did it first" in 2008 in the series' first film.

In videos from the party, the nude models can be seen lying motionless on tables with pieces of raw fish strategically placed on their bodies. The guests are expected to eat from them without touching them or speaking to them. West can be seen standing near one of the models and chatting with his friends.

Some of the celebrities who attended the party were Chlöe Bailey, Ty Dolla $ign and Freddie Gibbs. Ty shared some photos from the event on Instagram, showing West smiling and rapping along to his songs.

The party did not include any Kardashian-Jenners following Ye's divorce from Kim Kardashian earlier this year.
