MLC Standing 101: No Pressuring! - Video

My MLCer has been in a classic Midlife Crisis with lots of anger and alcohol abuse. He keeps me at an arms’ length. The last few months he has been coming around a bit and I get glimpses of the old him. He hugs me and gives me compliments, but he has really put me in the friend zone and if I suggest intimacy he refuses and says there are too many emotions to go there. He is moving away for a job in a few weeks. There’s no alienator, but early on there was a friendship that he ended. I feel he’s running away, but as we have been getting closer, he doesn’t want anything intimate even though he flirts. Why? Is there any hope?
