My Rats Passed Away. My Reaction Was...Weird? (Losing a Pet) - Video

when you make it your full time job to take care of animals, you're inevitability going to face death throughout the years. this year, i've lost my rats one by one- as they became elderly, they each began to get cancerous tumors. the death of my oldest rat, dove, brought out some emotions i wasn't even aware i had been carrying around when it comes to my relationship with my animals.

let's talk about these feelings, why i have them, and how i can turn them into something better for me.
