Confession: I don't like fireworks. I don't know if it's the loud noises or what about them specifically unsettles me. I've mostly had really bad 4th of July's even when I try to not do anything. I did go outside BRIEFLY this time and it was probably the best one I've had ever. I stay indoors mostly because I have allergies as well as my professional career and hobbies. I'm the kid with the inhaler.
