Sakineh and her son, Amir Mohammad, were living a nomadic life, constantly moving from place to place due to their financial constraints. They had been staying in a woman's house, but when Sakineh could not afford to pay the rent, they were kicked out. Left with no other option, Sakineh decided to take her children to the mountains, where they could live and survive on their own.

One day, Amir Mohammad informed his mother that he had found work and would be away for the next two months. This left Sakineh and her daughter, Ghazaleh, alone to fend for themselves. Determined to improve their living conditions, Sakineh suggested that they work on the house they were staying in. However, they soon realized that the house was in a dilapidated state, with water seeping in, making it uninhabitable. They decided to build a new house instead.

Amidst their efforts to construct a new house, Sakineh encountered Mohammad Reza's brother, Abu Talib. Despite the fact that he could not speak, Sakineh agreed to hire him to help build their dream house. As they continued working, a heavy rainstorm hit the area, causing the cameraman present to advise Sakineh against working that day. Additionally, Abu Talib didn't show up. Sensing the futility of their current situation, a woman named Suzan approached Sakineh and invited her to stay at her house.

Feeling overwhelmed and acknowledging the adverse weather conditions, Sakineh accepted Suzan's offer and spent the night at her house along with Ghazaleh. This allowed them a temporary respite from their challenging circumstances.
