The film kicks off in a mining colony prison, where numerous inmates toiled tirelessly throughout the day. When a massive machine known as The Crusher broke down, a guard called over a prisoner named Kai. He inquired if Kai could repair it, and after a brief period of tinkering, Kai successfully got it operational again. However, the situation took a sudden turn when the alarm blared to announce the arrival of a new inmate.
