LIZZO's Lawsuit is absolutely wild! Summer 2023 was jam-packed with Scandal after Scandal but I don't think anybody saw this one coming. On August 1st 2023 NBC news dropped a bombshell exclusive that detailed horrific allegations former dancers (Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams & Noelle Rodriguez) were slinging at rapper LIZZO, her touring company BIG GRRRL BIG TOURING INC. & choreographer Shirlene Quigley. Shortly after this story, Deadline News leaked an unfilled copy of the Lawsuit to the public. The Allegations in this lawsuit sparked shock and horror on the internet. (Especially the alleged s3xual assault, bananas and fat-shaming!) Funny enough, that was exactly the point. Don't get me wrong, the LIZZO lawsuit is serious. However, it's important to acknowledge, that this Lawsuit was also a very carefully calculated Public Relation's spectacle. A spectacle that reveals that sometimes there are more dubious strategies driving scandals like this. In today's video, I will give you all the information you need to understand the Lawsuit and the events surrounding its leak. We will analyze the Lizzo Lawsuit for what it is a) a very serious lawsuit with very serious allegations first and b) a Public Relations play later. Finally, we will talk about all the additional allegations that came out and detail how the "internet mob" (cardholding member here BTW ????) added on to the pile on. I'm always curious about what drives people to expose scandals like this in such a public way... this one may give us some clues
