THE TRAGIC EXTENT OF MY FAILINGS - RimWorld Melee Only Challenge 06 - Video

RimWorld, on the hardest difficulty, cranked up to + 500%, without pause or mods. We can't use guns, grenades, turrets, or mortars ... but the enemy can. Buckle up, this one's a tough ride.

Adam completes a full playthrough of RimWorld 1.2 on the hardest difficulty while using no pause and no mods! This playthrough was played against Randy Random. The difficulty is 'Losing is fun' with a +500% max threat modifier and starting with the Lost Tribe scenario. There were no mods used in this playthrough aside from removing the ability for the game to pause if it is open. This is melee only as far as weapons go, but we are able to use animals, traps, and psycasts.

This playthrough was recorded LIVE on Twitch. As such, Adam is speaking with chat throughout. Videos without chat will be listed as 'Youtube Exclusive'. This is the ENTIRE playthrough, so there will be some episodes in which not much happens, that's just the nature of unedited RimWorld.

*No Pause - Adam is using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for him to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.

** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

*** Randy Random, who is sometimes the easiest storyteller but usually the hardest.

**** Lost Tribe is a scenario in which you begin with 5 tribals, some supplies, and 3 random pets. This scenario has very slow research.
