Valkyrae Roasted by Pokimane on Twitch vs. YouTube - Video

A little throwback vid on Valkyrae and Pokimane fired some friendly shots back and forth over Twitch vs YouTube in the wake of the huge Twitch leak data breach.

Valkyrae is one of the biggest streamers on YouTube, and one of the faces of the platform, so when she saw the massive data breach that leaked all the Twitch streamers payouts, she thought she could maybe use it to get a few big names to jump ship, and tweeted that YouTube was still looking to sign streamers.

When Pokimane, one of Twitch’s top female streamers, saw the tweet, her response was to joke that of course YouTube was looking to sign more streamers, they only have three and half of them. Valkyrae took the joke in stride though, admitting that Pokimane had got her with that one, but still saying the Twitch leaks proved that YouTube might be the move.

So whose side are you on, team Pokimane/Twitch, or team Valkyrae/Youtube? As the streaming war only gets bigger and bigger, more and more streamers are going to have to make a hard choice between the two platforms. But if this week is any indication, Twitch may have to offer out a lot more cash to convince their streamers to stick around.
