Was this Twitch Streamer Banned for Breaking TOS or Racism? That is the question we as as the hot tub streamer Meta continues to rage on into mid may of 2021. ExoHydraX is a twitch streamer that has gone viral recently for her hot tub streams, and subsequent bans. While she is showing a lot of cleavage she technically isn't doing anything that breaks the terms of service, as stated by Twitch. ExoHydra took to twitter claiming race was a key factor in her ban.

"Good luck being black, and being a streamer on twitch. I do the exact same thing as yt(white) girls do. but yet I get banned, but they don't? Beyond disappointing. THIS ISN'T OK."

She does make a good point, as many popular twitch streamer in the just chatting section have commands that lead to adult sites in the title such as "!OF". Since Just Chatting is a the most popular category, a streamer who has these commands (which are against the ToS) in the title with thousands of views would surely be banned, yet these streams never get taken down. This has been on of the most annoying aspects of Twitch since bans and suspensions get based on rules that are selectively enforced causing mass confusion and outrage with viewers as their favorite content creators vanish from the platform. It will take a long time ro rectify this issue, but there is also an option to use another platform. If more situations like this happen, it may be the only logical choice left.
