Wetter weekend ahead, Not as hot - Video

It has been a mostly quiet end to the work week. Shower and storm chances will continue to rise as we move into the weekend.
Clouds will continue to stream in through the evening. We will watch of complex of showers and storms move in from the west after 11 PM. Although the batch of storms will be on a weakening phase, it will drag storms into the region through Saturday morning. Overnight lows will fall into the lower 70s.
Showers and storms are expected to be widely scattered Saturday and Sunday. Although the day will not be a complete washout, you will have to keep an eye on the radar. Some storms could produce some brief high wind gusts. Highs will reach the middle 80s. The unsettled weather continues for Sunday.
Storms will become a bit spottier through the first half of next week. Highs will warm back into the upper 80s to near 90. Rain chances may get another boost by the end of the week with the approach of a cold front.
