Wheel of Time RANT - Robert Jordan Had a Spanking Fetish? - Video

Renfail the Bearded Dwarven Princess here, and we're diving into another Wheel of Time RANT as I came across this idea during my re-read of the books that Robert Jordan had some type of spanking fetish that showed up in the novels. What?!

I'm having a really hard time wrapping my head around this one, and I'm keenly interested in hearing people's opinions on this. I've read the Wheel of Time multiple times over the years and not once have I ever intepreted any of the corporal punishment scenes in the books as some type of S&M fantasy, but rather a product of the author growing up during a time when corporal punishment was still a very real thing.

Is this actually true, or is it just a byproduct of the times we live in, because I don't remember the fandom fixating on this 20 years ago.
